Ages: 10-16
Instruments: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Saxophone, French Horn, Trumpet, Euphonium, Tuba, Timpani, Percussion, Electric Bass
Fee: $635. All TYO ensembles have fees but they should never be a barrier to participating. We offer a financial bursary program and fees assistance options.
Auditions essential. Approximate level: AMEB (or equivalent) GR3-5+
Audition dates: Late auditions for vacant positions only

TYO Wind Ensemble is an inclusive team of like-minded musicians who rehearse together, cultivating a unique and cohesive sound. Its purpose is to extend individual participants’ musical and technical ability in a group environment and give them quality ensemble and playing skills that can be applied to any instrumentation or performance situation. Wind Ensemble encourages its members to develop a life-long appreciation for wind bands and repertoire.
Be a part of this fun and creative environment, filled with opportunities for developing musicians. This is an ensemble where life-long friendships are formed with like-minded peers.
