Special Projects

RACT Symphony Under the Stars

Saturday 17 February

Tolosa Park, Glenorchy

TYO will perform as pre show entertainment ahead of TSO's RACT Symphony Under the Stars, conducted by Greg Stephens.

TSO Big Rehearsal

Saturday 11 August

Each year, the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra invites members of the TYO to join them onstage for an intense day of side-by-side rehearsing. Aspiring student musicians are mentored by members of the TSO as they prepare a program of orchestral masterworks under the baton of a highly acclaimed international guest conductor. This year, we are absolutely thrilled to be working with none other than TSO's own Chief Conductor, Marko Letonja!

Thanks to our supporters at the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra for these incredibly valuable professional development opportunities.
