TYO policies help guide the organisation and actions of individuals involved in best practice and provide information on how the TYO operates.

Policies are reviewed, on average, every three years, or when necessitated by a change in organisational direction, legislation, or in reaction to external influences.

AUDITION AND SELECTION POLICY
TYO is committed to making its programs available to all young musicians based on individual merit, and maintains a system that ensures that no individual candidate is disadvantaged or favoured by the TYO’s audition and selection process.


COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
TYO is committed to creating a supportive, respectful and inclusive environment. If you feel we're not meeting your expectations, please let us know so that we can appropriately address your concerns.


CHILD PROTECTION POLICY
Our participants are at the very core of all that we do. TYO aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for all participants and maintains strict protocols should that safety be called into question.


PARTICIPANT INFORMATION
While not officially a policy, all prospective participants must read about what is expected of them, prior to joining the TYO.


PARTICIPANT FEES POLICY
A vital part of TYO income, participant fees contribute to the organisation in many ways. This policy ensures equity among participants, outlines expectations of participants, and provides certainty of fee income to allow for effective program delivery and operations.


DATA PROTECTION POLICY
An extension of our Privacy Policy, this addresses the increasing data we're collecting to best support our players and the development of the organisation, as well as how we store and share (or don't) that information.


WORKPLACE HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
A safe and supportive environment is important to all associated with TYO.


EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT POLICY
Disasters, emergencies and other traumatic incidents can diminish the ability of the TYO to achieve its purposes. Good planning is essential to assisting the TYO to respond and recover from such events.

You can use this website completely anonymously - we don't collect any personal information without you knowingly providing it. This policy explains what we will and won't do with any details you do decide to provide.


MEDIA RELATIONS POLICY
A framework for achieving an effective working relationship with the media. TYO welcomes the opportunity to talk to, and through, the media to explore or respond to issues in the public arena. All TYO stakeholders may be seen as representatives and should refer to this policy to ensure they avoid making comments or participating in media relations that may damage the long-term reputation of TYO.
