Mo Nagayama

A Violist and Strings Director, based in Hobart, Tasmania.

Since 2022, Momoko (Mo) has been the String Director of Tasmanian Youth Orchestra's Sinfonietta, and is part of the Strings Faculty at the Fahan School.

She has studied with Jo St Leon, William Newbery as well as Katie Yap, Helen Ireland and Lisa Grosman in Melbourne. Her career highlights include performances with Archie Roach, Nigel Westlake, Australian Session Orchestra, Mona Foma, for 3MBS Radio, Musica Viva Tasmania and Kronos Quartet.
