• TYO Tasmanian Youth Chorale rehearsals commence for 2026.

Saturday 14 February

• Rehearsals for The Tasmanian Youth Orchestra commence for 2026 - includes orientation session for this ensemble.

Tuesday 17 February

• TYO Tasmanian Junior Chorale rehearsals commence for 2026 - includes orientation session for both chorales.

Saturday 21 February

• Rehearsals for TYO Camerata Strings, TYO Sinfonietta, TYO Chamber Orchestra commence for 2026 - includes orientation session for these ensembles.

Saturday 14 March: TSO Big Rehearsal

• The Tasmanian Youth Orchestra joins the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra for a workshop and presentation.

Saturday 28 - Sunday 29 March: St Matthew Passion Collaboration Concerts

• TYO Tasmanian Junior Chorale perform in St David's Cathedral.

Sunday 11 April: Launceston Tour

• The Tasmanian Youth Orchestra and TYO Tasmanian Youth Chorale travel to perform in the north of the state.

​

Sunday 18 April: Hobart Concert

• The Tasmanian Youth Orchestra and TYO Tasmanian Youth Chorale perform in Hobart.

Sunday 24 May: Ensembles Program 1 Concert

• TYO Camerata Strings, TYO Sinfonietta, TYO Chamber Orchestra, TYO Tasmanian Junior Chorale and TYO Percussion Ensemble perform at their first concert for 2026.

Sunday 5 July: Festival of Voices Chorale Workshop 

• The TYO Tasmanian Youth Chorale performs at Festival of Voices.

Tuesday 7 July: Young Tasmania Sings Night 1, Festival of Voices

• The Tasmanian Youth Orchestra accompanies choirs of Tasmanian children at Festival of Voices.

• TYO Tasmanian Youth Chorale combined performance with the Tasmanian Youth Orchestra

Wednesday 8 July: Young Tasmania Sings Night 2, Festival of Voices

• The Tasmanian Youth Orchestra accompanies choirs of Tasmanian children at Festival of Voices.

• TYO Tasmanian Youth Chorale combined performance with the Tasmanian Youth Orchestra

Thursday 9 July: Pop-up Performance, Festival of Voices TBC

• The TYO Tasmanian Junior Chorale performs at a Pop-up Performance around Hobart.

Thursday 9 July: Voices at 5, Festival of Voices TBC

• The TYO Tasmanian Youth Chorale performs in Voices at 5.

Sunday 23 August: Ensembles Program 2 Concert

• TYO Camerata Strings, TYO Sinfonietta, TYO Chamber Orchestra, TYO Tasmanian Junior Chorale and TYO Percussion Ensemble perform at their second concert for 2026.

Sunday 20 September: TYO Extension Concert

• A performance for invited/convened TYO chamber groups

Sunday 27 September: Hobart Concert

• The Tasmanian Youth Orchestra perform in Hobart.

​

Sunday 29 November: The Big Busk! 

• All orchestras, ensembles and chorales, including the Tasmanian Youth Orchestra.

• TYOers hit the streets for the Big Busk, with all ensembles performing around Hobart to raise funds for TYO access initiatives!

• A combined filmed finale will feature everyone performing together. ​

​

December: date TBC ABC Christmas Angels

• The TYO Chorales will bring Christmas cheer to the airwaves as part of the annual ABC Christmas Angels series.​
