About the Event
This delightful program features the exceptional young musicians of the Tasmanian Youth Orchestra and the TYO Tasmanian Youth Chorale, presenting Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite, Delius' Sleigh Ride, Shostakovich's Festive Overture, Thomson's Veni Emmanuel and Rutter's enchanting Christmas fable Brother Heinrich's Christmas.
Masks for audience members are not required but are encouraged; and door sales, if available, will be by card only. We look forward to seeing you there!
TYO acknowledges the traditional owners and continuing custodians of lutruwita/Tasmania. We pay respect to the Aboriginal community today and to their Elders past and present. We stand for a future that profoundly respects First Nations stories, culture, language and history.
