TSO Big Rehearsal

Concert polish applied – with HUGE thanks to the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra!  The TSO Big Rehearsal, held this year on 23 August 2025, brings together the musicians of the Tasmanian Youth Orchestra with their professional TSO counterparts. This year, we switched the format up a bit to support TYO's preparation for our 60th anniversary concerts in Launceston (Saturday 30 August) and Hobart (Saturday 6 September).

TYO acknowledges the traditional owners and continuing custodians of lutruwita/Tasmania. We pay respect to the Aboriginal community today and to their Elders past and present. We stand for a future that profoundly respects First Nations stories, culture, language and history.
