Shing Leung

Board Member

Shing is a clarinetist, conductor, and educator based in Launceston. Before moving to Tasmania with his family in 2018, he was a core member of the Hong Kong New Music Ensemble, performing internationally and focusing on performing contemporary works. He is passionate about collaborating with musicians, composers, and students, and has appeared at festivals including ISCM World Music Days, Mona Foma, and the Hong Kong Arts Festival. Shing currently tutors with the Esk Band Program and Scotch Oakburn College, and serves as an examiner with AMEB Tasmania.
