Gabrielle Cayoun

Gabrielle Cayoun is a classically-trained pianist and piano tutor who works in a variety of styles, with focus on collaborative piano. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the UTAS Conservatorium of Music (2021) and is a twice recipient of the Royal Over-Seas League Piano Award. She was also a semi-finalist of the 2021 Ossa Prize, as member of the improvisational ensemble Silikill.

Gabby has been working as an accompanist since age 15, beginning with group singing classes at Hobart's Musical Theatre Crew. As a student, she also participated in TYO's orchestral ensembles as a violinist for 6 years. Gabby continues to work as a repetiteur, tutor, and performer with a number of schools, musical theatre productions, and private teaching studios across Hobart. She holds a special interest in experimental music and new compositions.
